The first 8 images were shot at Floyd Lamb Park in Las Vegas. This area was an oasis in the Mojave desert used by humans for thousands of years. The sunset picture is also from Las Vegas. The next 7 images were shot at sunrise in Northport Michigan on the sunrise side of the Leelanau County peninsula. The last photo, Mr Potato Head, was made from a 50 shot focus stack. The potato is only 2 cm wide.
